Annual Thimphu Tsechu is one of the Popular festivals, held inside the Tashichho Dzong in the capital city. Tsechu is witnessed by thousands of locals. Highlight dances, Beautiful Black hat dance, religious Drum dance, color full cultural dance and song, ceremonial procession. Gangtey festival is held inside the Gangtey Gompa one of oldest monastery. Itienerary includes , hikes visit to farm house , hot stone bath and ancient temple. Day 1 : Abroad to Paro

During your flight You will view the most majestic peaks and enjoy the view of the approaching valley with its primeval alpine forest, monasteries, temples and farmhouse nestled in splendid mountain isolation. On arrival to Paro, you will be received by our tour guide drive to Thimphu, the capital city. Beautiful drive From Paro to Thimphu takes about an hour following the Paro and Thimphu River.
En- route visit the Tamchog Lhakhang (temple) which has an iron chain bridge cast in the 14th century Overnight : Hotel

Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing

After breakfast sightseeing around the best of Thimphu
visit Textile museum where you can see the finest textile and uses of dress and costumes.

Museum also have special display of ancient dress worn by the royalty. Visit: world’s biggest Buddha Dordema statue is built overlooking the valley Visit the Indigenous hospital, Traditional Medicine Centre which includes, Celestial City of Medicine Buddha, Raw Materials for Sorig medicine .Dechenphodrang central Monastic school one of the oldest Dzong, houses hundreds of monks , learning their daily monastic ritual and script After Lunch: Visit the Pangri Zampa Astrological collage, you can meet with astrology for consultations Visit Green Tara Temple , Takin trails hike near Takin Zoo, through beautiful streams Evening stroll through Thimphu weekend market , craft market Overnight: Hotel

Day 3 : Thimphu festival

Thimphu Tsechu is held at the courtyard of the Trashichoedzong on presence of His holiness the Je Khenpo, chief abbot of Bhutan member of monk and the civil servant. Festival dances includes, Beautiful Black hat dance, religious Drum dance, color full cultural dance and song, ceremonial procession. Most beautiful experience is you get to emerge with locals at their finest dress and happiness with many gathering among families and friends . Lunch at the local restaurants Evening free for walking along the town Dinner with your local host Overnight hotel

Day 4 : Thimphu To Punakha

After breakfast drive to Punakha (77 Km/3 hours). En- route stop at Dochula Pass (3,150 m.) on a clear day you will get a spectacular view of the ranges of the Eastern Himalayas. We will also come across 108 stupas that lend the place an air of deep spirituality. After tea drive down to Lobesa village , passing the villages and fields . visit Temple of Fertility dedicated to the 15th century Buddhist master and iconoclast Drukpa Kuenley, also known as the Divine Madman. Today, the temple is frequented visited b many couples to receive the blessings of fertility from a 15th century wooden
phallus. After Lunch visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong. Visit the most significant visit today is Punakha Dzong, a magnificent castle-fortress Built in 1637 on the confluence of the Pho Chu (male river) and Mo Chu (female river,) built in 1637 by the first supreme leader and unifier of Bhutan, Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, now houses the central monk body and administrative district
of Punakha After the take a short walk to longest hanging bridge built across Phochu River Drive to Wangdi Gaselo village for over night in Gaselo Ecolodge ,Yummy organic Bhutanese meals Hot Stone bath near by lodge There is temple near the Lodge where You spent some time join with monk for Morning prayer inside the temple

Day 5 : Wangdue to Gangtey

Drive to Gangtey
After breakfast visit : Wangdue Dzong is architecture wonder completed last year . Drive to Phobjekha takes about less the 2 hour crossing over the Gangtey Pass (3140 m), and then drop into the
Phobjikha Valley. The Phobjikha Valley is one of the roosting grounds of the Black-necked cranes in winter. Stop at Gantey pass where you can see few highlander sale their product.
Nature hike Hike, through the pine forest with the view of main Phobjekha valley where the Crane feeds in winter. Come across Khewa village located in the middle of the Potato fields and Meadow. Lunch at Home stay Visit the old Khewa Lhakhang built in 14th century.. Lunch at the lodge After lunch : Visit Crane information’s centre to see the Crane preservation Project, They have a nice display on community and RSPN working together to preserve the Crane. Day 6 : Attend Gangtey festival

Attend Gangtey Gompa festival held inside the Gantey Monastery attend by many villager Dances includes wrath full dances , drum dance folk dance , mask dance dedication to Terton Pemalingpa
Visit the 16th century Gangtey Goempa monastery over looking the valley Evening visit farm house for Dinner. Overnight lodge

Day 7 : Wangdue to Paro

After early We retrace our journey today, back to Paro via Thimphu , stop at local market , hike trans Bhutan trails bellow Dochula pass En route visit : Visit Dobjee Dzong one of the oldest Sample of Dzong built in 12th century , you see special Milaripa Statue as the main Temple . You can visit medicinal holy water and wash your head or you can take Holy stone bath . Lunch at the temple with Dobje lama , Drive to Paro , Walking around the Paro

Day 8 : Tigernest hike

Today, hike up to the “Tiger’s Nest” or Taktshang monastery. This religious edifice, about 800 meters above the Paro valley floor, is built on a dizzying ledge of a gigantic granite cliff that hangs on a mountainside. As to how it could have been constructed in the 17th century remains a mystery; a story has it that celestial nymphs (Khandromas) aided in its construction. It was here that Padmasambhava, an eighth century master who is considered to be the second Buddha in the Himalayan Buddhist world, mediated and blessed the place. If time Permits, visit Paro National Museum

Day 9 : Paro to Depart
